Katelyn and Joe were married the last weekend in September on a sunny but cool fall Saturday. Their rustic wedding was “tandem-bike” themed, from cake topper, to programs, to a REAL tandem bike! Many friends and family (from all over the country) came down in support of the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Scrittore, and were rewarded with one heck-of-a good time.
Kate and Joe had quite possibly the most easy-going demeanor of any couple on their wedding day… ever. It was a pleasure just to be present at their wedding and getting to photograph it was an added bonus. Hope you all enjoy a few of my favorite images…

Sweet cake topper! And OH my goodness what a delicious cake… but let’s not get ahead of ourselves… these guys need to get hitched.

I could get used to having great bike props at weddings…

… or cornfields – they’re good too.

I’d like to thank the entire wedding party for joining us out in the cornfield – that was probably NOT something they imagined doing on Saturday 🙂 Thanks guys!

Announcing, Mr. and Mrs. Scrittore!

Two great toasts by great friends…

The dancing started slowly and sweetly…

… then picked up a notch…

…then skipped about 42 notches…

(No, the DJ didn’t have a stunt double, he was just THAT good.)

A quick break to cut the cake…

And back to this…

I think you’ll agree, Flora Corner Farm is a really beautiful place…

As the celebration continued it dawned on us that quite a few people in the crowd had red hair, and when the bride is a ginger you follow orders – we had to document this. (Photo Credit: Jennah Watters)

Congratulations again, and all the best of luck, Kate and Joe, on your journey together!
