Erika and Jered | Southern Maryland Wedding | Mary’s Hope on Church Cove

Erika started her June wedding with all the useful fixins: OJ and Champagne :).  After hair and makeup at home, we drove to the beautiful old home place at Mary’s Hope on Church Cove. Mary’s Hope has everything a photographer (and couple, for that matter) could ask for – a beautiful waterfront property with a beach and huge lawn, great options for entertaining both indoors and out, a gazebo, and a tree swing.  No really, that’s all anyone needs!  Here are a few of my favorite images from the day, and there are many more after the jump…

While Erika finished up getting ready in the Bridal suite, I found Jered and his groomsmen across the hall…

“First look” photo series in the gazebo out by the creek…

The ceremony was held in front of the house (as party preparations continued out back)…

Tree-swing cameo #1 …

I loved this bucket that included just about every variety of bug repellent I knew existed, plus a few I didn’t.  We didn’t end up needing any, but it never hurts to be prepared!

Some great laughs during toasting…

Jered’s a pretty trusting guy – I don’t think he saw this coming…

Check out this 180+ degree panorama of the grounds at Mary’s Hope.  Talk about space!

Enjoying the water view, as sunset closes in…

I grabbed Erika and Jered for a few portraits in the best light of the day – and the tree swing made another cameo…

Why not – cameo #3…

Best of luck to both of you – thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of your big day, it was an honor!
