Meg and David managed to long-distance-plan a wedding in only a few months – and that alone is a feat. They flew from their current home in Utah to beautiful Charlottesville last weekend for an afternoon wedding and incredible meal with family and friends. Both families stayed the weekend at a great new B&B called The Inn at 400 West High. “New” is a relative term, because the original construction dates back to 1900! We arrived at The Local, which had been seriously done up for the occasion by a friend of the family, Jean. She doesn’t do this for a living – but she’s GOOD!

Meg and David retreated into the wine cellar after the ceremony, and I found them a little while later…
A local, gourmet, tapas meal followed the ceremony, interspersed with great conversation, catching up, and toasts by two old friends.
